Halloween

Here are our halloween pictures. We did trunk or treating at the church and then went trick or treating in the neighborhood. By the end of the night they were exhausted. oh ryan and I were Shaggy and Daphne from scooby doo

Braves game

Ryan's work gets a box for 2 of the brave games this season. We went and watched the Braves play the red socks (baseball, mom) . But mostly we just stayed in the box and ate all the catered food they provide. They even have an icecream cart that comes to the box and makes made to order sundaes for free. Yeah!

We went to six flags on friday. We had some free tickets from a school reading program. The girls went on several large roller coasters with loops and everything. They had a great time. They wanted to go a second time on a coaster that had 5 loops, but my stomach just couldn't take it again.

The girls decorated my birthday cake for me, it turned out quite pretty.

I have been trying to take a field trip with the girls once a week. It can get busy with my school, but I want to enjoy the summer too. So, this time we went to a miniature animal farm. The girls loved it. They carried those poor animals around everywhere.

As you can see the girls love their new swing set. Ryan built it, and it is big. When the girls are done with it, I will have to put a hammock or something on it.

STRAWBERRIES

It is our third summer with our strawberry plants, and they have finally produced in a mass quantity. It is enough to make strawberry shortcake. We are very excited! They are even sending out flowers for another round. The girls loved picking the strawberries out of our own garden.

Easter

We went camping at the end of march.  The girls had a blast.  We took some hikes and they made a huge fire with Ryan.  They love getting dirty.  

The kitchen is done!

Here it is.  All our hard work is finally finished and I am one happy baker.  

girls get a haircut

So, there is this really cute salon by our school for little girls.  They do manicures and pedicures and haircuts.  I took the girls because it was half off.  They got the cutest haircut had a great time.  I wish they could do mine. 

karate kids

The girls have begun karate.  They have wanted to take it for awhile and we won an auction at school for lessons.  They look cute in their outfits, but they pack a punch!

christmas in ohio

This year we went up to Ohio for Christmas.  The girls informed us that it was the best christmas ever because it was spent with cousins.  We had a late Christmas eve because the kids could not settle down.  The girls were really excited with their new bikes from santa, Eli and Abby got a new teepee that was a big hit!  Ryan took the kids out on Christmas day so everyone could ride bikes at the park.  It really was a great christmas.
